Mr. Knepper serves on the Board of Governors at The Johns Hopkins Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute as well as being the former chair of the external advisory committee of The Charles Bronfman Institute for Personalized Medicine at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York.
Mr. Knepper founded STAT+MD after 10 years working at Columbia Management, the asset management arm of Bank of America, and 5 years at a publicly traded company. Mr. Knepper received a B.A. in Neuroscience with a minor in Biology from Bowdoin College and an M.B.A. from New York University.

Dr. Knepper is a former member of the Board of Governors at the The Johns Hopkins Hospital Heart and Vascular Institute. Dr. Knepper is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and received her training while performing an internship and residency at Boston Medical Center. She has previously held positions as an Attending Physician in the Emergency Room as well as attending and faculty positions at Harvard Vanguard Medical and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Knepper received a B.A. in Sociology from Tulane University and her Doctorate of Medicine from Boston University.

Karen Wellman is originally from Rockville, Maryland. She is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a degree in journalism. She has extensive experience working in healthcare and improving medical practices, most-recently including a concussion specialty clinic in Park City. As a local, Karen is committed to making sure the Park City community receives world-class medical care in a safe, respectful and private manner.
When not in the clinic, you will find Karen working out at The Basin, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking and catching up with old and new friends at the local coffee shop.
